My favorite iPhone photography apps 3 of 3

tiltshiftgen exampleMy third favorite iPhone photography app is TiltShiftGen. It's a great little app that creates a fake tilt shift lens effect. I normally do not like any thing that "fakes" the look of a real tilt shift lens but I have to say this one does a great job and sometimes I do want to draw focus to a particular area in a shot. That is where this app shines through.

When you shoot a image within the application you can control the width and intensity of the blurred edges using two fingers to rotate and scale the focal plane. You can also make controls to the saturation, brightness and contrast withing the app before saving it.

An example from the Gaylord Hotel in Nashville of the tiltshiftgen.

This one is one of my favorites I have shot using this app. It's a parking lot in Las Vegas.

My two favourite iPhone photo apps:

1. addLib -- Automatically generates random "graphic design pieces" based on the Grid System, a fractal theory, the golden ratio and the Facial Recognition System.

Some pieces I've made with it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/secret_canadian/sets/72157623305167981/

2. Photogene - A handy all-around photo editing app. Crop. Adjust colours. Etc.

Honorable Mention: Wink - I won't give this the full thumbs up yet as I'm waiting for my first set of prints to get back. Creates photo-booth-like photostrips from iPhone, Flickr & Facebook photos. Then prints & mails them anywhere in the world. Also available as a desktop web app.
