Automated Gallery Wrap Edges
What do I hear from photographers ALL OF THE TIME? I hear this:

Hey, those gallery wraps are really cool... umm I'd really like to try those out as a product, but I sure hate loosing 4 inches of my image to wrap around the edges. How do you build that file anyway?"

Well... - we like to put a texture or a pattern around our gallery wraps. This way we don't have to loose the integrity of our crop/composition PLUS it makes the wall display look really cool from the side.
Most people will simply let the image wrap around the canvas frame for the borders, but here at lbobi, we see those edges as prime real estate for some great design to further customize the client's experience. I was just pondering last night how to deal with a certain image that I want on a wrap but that doesn't quite fit...and BAM! I love lbobi and I'm so glad lbobi loves me!
And by the way, NIIIIICE way of teasing us with what Jeremy is soon to offer! At first I thought, this is an odd selection for an action demonstration but then (in all seriousness) I was so swept away by the music that a.) I knew I had to have the Wrap Action, & b.) I wanted to sit down to watch all the LOTR Extended Editions (not too sure why on point b. but I think it has something to do with Jeremy Horn being as talented as Howard Shore!)

I am glad you like this texture action. I think it's probably the best thing we have come up with. I really don't like it when people let the edges get pixel stretched down the edges. If you don't use our actions then use your own textures.
Just awesome! Where do ya'll get all your great ideas!!??! I've always struggled with gallery wraps, but no more! lbobi is a very inspiring place to be! This is just too cool. The music is great, too!! :-)
