Netflix iPad app updated to support video output

Fellow iPad users,

One of my favorite apps for the iPad is Netflix. If you have a Netflix account (I have the $8.99 plan) you can stream movies from Netflix. There is no extra cost to this feature and it actually works on the Xbox 360 and laptops as well. There are tons of movies and TV shows to choose from.

Yesterday I noticed there was an update for the Netflix iPad app. It now allows you to connect the optional VGA connector and play streaming video from the iPad on a TV or projector. I am going to setup an older projector with speakers and play movies for my kids. The coolness factor of my little friend just increased ten fold.

Take note: I use the iPad every day and have not charged it up since last weekend. It's only down to 20%. AMAZING batter life.

Friend to the peoples,
Jeff

I think Apple should definitely play up the marketing opportunities to parents of young children with this! I know my 3 year old has been using my iPhone for over a year now.
