Sports Illustrated Magazine using HTML 5

Good news for guys who have an iPad and love their sports.

Sports Illustrated showcased their new online magazine today at the keynote speech presented at Google. To me this is a really big win in the cold war between Apple and Adobe's Flash. Apple will not support Flash and wants developer to build in HTML 5. Jobs likes this platform because it is open, faster loading and not such a battery drainer. There are other reasons and I am sure a lot of inside political stuff as well but I for one have not missed the absence of flash on my iPad.

This demonstration showcases a behind the scenes photo shoot with Shaquille O'Neal. I hope this format is the future of online publications. I like the integration of media, all on my favorite little buddy, the iPad.
