Dot, a wee tiny stop motion film.

I saw the link to this short film a couple times today on Twitter and finally got around to watching it. It is SO impressive. A short stop motion animation film titled "Dot". It's shot using a microscope attachment on a Nokia N8 (12mega pixel). The microscope is a device developed by Professor Daniel Fletcher called CellScope. With it you can photograph blood samples and send them via phone to anywhere in the world.

The film was shot for Nokia by the firm Aardman. They used a Rapid Prototyping 3D computer generated model to produce the 9mm hero prop, Dot.

Here is the behind the scenes story of how they shot it.
