In this episode Brian and I talk about the trip Allison and I took to Palm Springs, CA. to teach at SPA 2011. We also discuss the great post on lbobi.com by P.F. Conrey titled the "Creative I's".

"Senior Portrait Artists (spa - pronounced spah) is an organization on a constant quest to provide information for the senior photographer in a creative, artistic, and innovative form from both inside and outside the photography industry. spa has been specifically designed to reach the needs of the senior photographers."

I have been wanting to get out there for the past few years and I am very grateful for Andy Bondurant inviting us out to speak. It was a great relaxed learning environment.

In this episode I also discuss getting to hear several fantastic speakers at SPA. Joel Grimes (who I am still waiting on a tweet from) and Joy Vertz super star photographer and creator of ProPhotoApps iphone app. Special thanks to my great friend Mike Hanline, owner of WHCC for hosting the very cool fireside chat at their suite and for convincing me to stay an extra day.

The last part of the show focuses on PF Conrey's post about the stages of creative inspiration titled "The Creative I's".
