The Big Book

This project by The Brand Union is the definition of a "Big Idea", especially the kind we like to talk about here on lbobi. It's a huge book (4m wide, 2.5m high, to be exact), and has 100 pages filled with 1200 images. It is being displayed outside the Palais des Festivals in France. You can read more about it on Brand Union's site,  but here's a summary/mission statement of sorts by the curator:

"The Big Book stands as a towering reminder of creativity and the power of images to evoke strong emotions and spark further creative outputs. It was a pleasure to be asked to help select the photos that have made it into The Big Book and I was extremely impressed by both the quality of these images, but also of the wide range of subject matter." - Rankin, curator
