Have you heard of Fab.com?

So I have a new website to tell you about. It's a magical place where you can go drool over lots of beautiful works of art and design that has prices that are equally as enticing as the work itself. This place is called Fab.com.

Now before you go clicking on that link, you should know that it's an invite-only site. You can request membership, but it's way cooler and much faster to get an invite from a friend. lbobi is proud to be that friend, and I'll tell you how to get your invite from us in a bit. First, a fancy screenshot:

So here's how it works: Fab is basically an e-commerce site mixed with an auction site. As you can see in the image below, there's a line that says "Sale Ends in 1 day and 23 hours". Most Fab sales only last 2 days, and they're known as flash sales. This is smart, because it makes people like me feel more pressure to make an impulse buy. I've managed to refrain so far; I generally relieve this urge by rabidly posting things to Pinterest (which you can read about here). So if you're a creative and like things that are awesome, I'd recommend you check this site out.

Just a quick nerd note about the design of the site. It's got a very friendly and usable layout, and it's really intuitive to navigate. They've integrated social media into the site very well, and make it easy to share the sales with your friends and followers. My favorite part is the super awesome rollover feature that shows you the details of the product. In my opinion, all e-commerce sites could use this feature...

So now you want an invite right? Just follow lbobi on Twitter, and @mention us to request an invite. I'm not sure how many I have to give out, so the sooner you do it the better!

If you've used Fab.com or especially if you've made a purchase from them, please share your experience in the comments. Thanks!
