lbobi Radio Episode #46: Creative Collaboration - Finding the Right Fit.

The last time we talked with you, Brian and I were discussing how important solitude is to the creative process. But what about when you are working on a creative project with someone else? In our forty-sixth episode, we talk about finding the right fit when it comes to creative colleagues.

Feedback would be most appreciated. Why not click here and jump on over to the lbobi facebook page and let me know how you feel... about anything.

The four steps to having an effective Brainstorming session by famous "Mad Man" Alex Osborn of BBDO.

    1. Focus on Quantity: Throw out all of your bad and cliche ideas. You have to get past the obvious to get to the good stuff.
    2. Withhold Criticism: There are NO BAD IDEAS at this point. Do not judge or condemn any ideas being thrown out.
    3. Welcome Unusual Ideas: Free association. This is where the deeper not obvious ideas come from and then move on to the last step.
    4. Combine and Improve Ideas: In our episode I use the Spork as an example. In this stage you start playing off someone elses idea then they take it and add to it and before you know it you have an interesting concept to run with.
